  1. Severe bug in Adobe Audion (latest and previous versions)

    How to replicate the bug:
    - create a new Multitrack session.
    - add a file that is not in the same location as the multitrack session.
    - double click the file so it opens in the audio-editor
    - make any spectral selection. (preferably a very tiny one) for example: a small lasso selection around a sibilant S you want to gain down.
    - switch to the multitrack (with that selection still existing in the waveform editor)
    - Save the multitrack session.

    BOOM

All of a sudden you hardly hear anything, although you can still see the waveform.

    Doubleclick the region…

The Loudness Radar is now 1/4 of the actual FX window. Worked fine in the previous version

  3. Possible bug in Audition

When working in Multitrack with audios from different locations (one on desktop, other on session's "Imported Files" folder) when I save the session (Ctrl + S) the audio located on my desktop appears Offline and I have to use "Link media" option on (almost) every splitted clip of the same file. This started to happen after the most recent update (on 2020-06-16)

Posible problema en Audition. Al trabajar en Multitrack con audios de distintas ubicaciones (uno en escritorio, otro el carpeta "Imported Files" de la sesión) en el momento en que guardo la sesión ("Ctrl + S") el audio ubicado…

  4. Folders/Bins for File Management!

Basic file management doesn't exist in Audition like it does in every other Adobe software. The ability to add folders and place files inside those folders when working inside Audition would be HUGE, just like you can in Premiere and After Effects. This is a must have organizational feature that has always been missing.

I’m happy to share that the team has been implementing folders (aka bins) for organization as part of a larger workflow initiative. We should be able to make this available in the public beta builds later this year with the official release following.

If you haven’t already heard, several Adobe applications such as Audition, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Character Animator, are making daily public betas available to ALL Creative Cloud members. This will give everyone a chance to sneak peek new features and bug fixes, as well as provide feedback and guidance on how those features progress. For more information, please visit https://theblog.adobe.com/introducing-public-beta/ and click the “Beta Apps” section in your Creative Cloud Desktop application.
