It would be nice to be able to export a wavfile as picture, edit it in Photoshop and the reimport the picture to audition. So every manipulation on the picture in photoshop has effect on the wavfile.

It would be helpful to be able to get the tracknames, trackorder and length as cleartext when creating an album. Also more options to define pauses and trackmarkers like CD-Architect.

It would be fine to control certain dialog boxes via JS. For example: A Sound is analyzed by Auditon and has as result a tonenumber (C3). This info would be useful to be scripted to the filename for sampling.

We get a lot of karaoke singers in the studio and this would be a great boon.
Something similar could be used for dialogue overdubs by displaying text on a separate screen as the timeline progresses

This will allow real time manual control over pitch correction using an automation lane as well as providing a reference track for easier tuning.
The Manual Pitch Correction FX in Audition in the hands of a skilled operator can produce far superior results than 3rd party FX like AutoTune and Melodyne

The last two releases have included what I see as a bug. When in PLAY mode, if I "Zoom To Selection" or "Zoom In At In Point" at the beginning of a file, the play head stays in the middle of the window. However (in the last two releases) if I do the same towards the END of the file it zooms to the wrong spot, and I don't see the play head. I'm on build 11.1.0.184.

The cross fade option while mix-pasting is great, but i would love to be able to set it to crossfade just the top or just the tail (or both like it is now) depending on the situation.

Example...

I want to mix-paste something, but want it to cross fade at the start of the paste, and be a straight cut style paste at the end of it.

I will try to explain better if that didn't make sense.

I cannot get Audition CC 2018 to play on my Mac Pro. 2017 works perfectly but if I open the exact same session in CC2018 the Session will not play. Can someone help me understand

Audition CC display interface is all grey and not contrasted. It is difficult to read icons and scales. It gives me headache. I preferred audition 3.0 interface.

Audition needs advanced tools for create realistic synthetic sound effects, like a group of oscillators such as Reaktor.

Often, when playing back a multitrack file with lots of short clips close together, Audition eats up way more memory than I have allowed it to use under the Memory section of Preferences.
For example, if I only let Adobe programs have, say, 7 GB of RAM, Audition will still try to use up more than 10 GB, often crashing the whole computer unless I force quit it early on.

I know this might have been a fairly esoteric feature back in the Audition 3 days, but I'd like to have the Spectral Pan and Frequency displays back. They were quite useful for surgical editing of the stereo image. I don't imagine they would be that hard to re-implement.

I recently got on after being ask for a new password and found my presets and favorites were gone I cant even find any of the effects in the rack such as radio announcer could you help me with this thanks

Occasionally, you'll have a stereo audio clip where one side might be a boom mic, and the other might be a wireless lapel (lav) mic.

A nice feature would be the ability to drag that clip over two mono tracks, and have Audition automatically split the clip into two separate mono clips, which can then be edited and mixed independently.

If I have two mono clips on two separate mono tracks, a cool feature would be the ability to select both clips, and drag them onto an empty stereo track, which automatically creates a stereo clip containing the audio. This would be very helpful when it comes to stereo delays, reverbs, etc.
