  1. mp3 export from audition is bad (compared)

I just discovered that when saving a file as MP3, the quality is very poor, even at 320kbps CBR.

I simply noticed with my ears that it sounded muddy. When I checked the waveform it was confirmed.

So see if this is the best MP3 has to offer, I did a similar export (320Kbps CBR) using Izotope RX6.

And the export from RX6 sounded much better and punchier, with a similar file size. This too can be confirmed in the attached screenshot.

Please improve.. So many MP3's, unnecessarily sounding bad... :-(

I won't be using it anymore, but many people…

  3. BUG: Audio Popping

Audition effects (specially tone and noise generations) keep generating audio popping artifacts when you play or stop the audio.

  4. BUG: DeNoiser and DeReverb (Jason Levine and Video Revealed)

The new DeNoiser and DeReverb don't work well the first part of the audio clip.
There are some of these results on You Tube. For example the first part of the audio of the videos of the Video Revealed and Jason Levine videos have these audio problems, I think because they are using these new tools. ;)

  5. REAL TIME PLAYBACK

Audition should process all the effects and changes faster, instead of stopping and, then, playing the clip again after waiting a moment for listening the changes.

  6. FASTER MULTITRACK EFFECTS

You could accelerate the multitrack effects of Audition for having a faster workflow when you are trying to make a real time mixing with a lot of effects.

    THANKS.

  7. Accelerated process effects.

You could accelerate all process effects for being Audition capable of add all its effects to the multitrack with a fast performance (Doppler Effect and all the others).

  8. update Audition

    I have a mid-2012 MacBook Pro.

For the past two months, I've been having consistent problems with recorded audio that has no distortion, and was recorded at high quality, suddenly having awful distortion when I import it into Audition. It's like a crackly fuzz kind of sound. Or, I'll have multitrack sessions with a podcast episode I've been editing, and what was once sounding like normal clean audio, will then play back distorted.

I also have not been able to record in multitrack view for several months. I cannot arm the track to record (the R button is inoperable), so…

  9. Crash on startup without notice (windows 10) (Adobe CC 2018)

My Adobe program keeps crashing just a few seconds after I open it. There is no windows pop-up saying this program is not responding. Audition just closes.

  12. Video media automatically unlinking after import

Upon importing .mp4 video files with audio attached into my multitrack project, the video files will offline itself as soon as I "save" the project, leaving me with only the audio from the .mp4.

If I try to relink this media to the original .mp4 in it's original location (I work on our companies server, so it's in a different "output" folder), it will continue to do the same offline action of copying the file into the "Imported Files" folder and then unlinking itself. The only way to get it to stick is to link the media to the .mp4…

Can we lower the latency option to 0 instead of the lowest being 30?

  16. Memory use in Multitrack playback does not respect limits set in Preferences

Often, when playing back a multitrack file with lots of short clips close together, Audition eats up way more memory than I have allowed it to use under the Memory section of Preferences.
For example, if I only let Adobe programs have, say, 7 GB of RAM, Audition will still try to use up more than 10 GB, often crashing the whole computer unless I force quit it early on.
