We have to be able to select multiple tracks at once. Otherwise audition will never be a go to DAW for post audio imo.
Please PLEASE work on our ability to select multiple tracks at once. This would be a massive time saver.
Thank you!

Automatic pitch correction and popping noises
I added the effect "automatic pitch correction" to some clips.
In the case of Windows(Intel Core i5-9400F @ 2.9 GHz),there is not noise.
But,in the case of macOS(Intel Core i5-8259U @ 2.3 GHz),it is creating a popping noise in the vocals.

Update Podcast template so that speech control is not automatically on
I am not a sound engineer, but I had to source one when I could not understand why breath sounds on the podcast were being distorted and amplified.
The response from Adobe was to try a different mic. However, the issue was with the podcast template which automatically switched on this function under the Mixer button.
I was not familiar with this function, and it is not on the tutorial I viewed. Neither was my Adobe contact it seems. The engineer, however, was able to locate the issue and switch it off. There is no need for this to be…

Bug: macOS Big Sur Multitrack Waveform Display Problems
Using the 2020 and the Beta release of Audition on macOS Big Sur (I am aware, it's beta software).
I am seeing the waveforms not render correctly in a multi-track view.
It's actually almost impossible to work with these waveforms (see attachment).
The waveforms sometimes jump back to normal when zooming in and out or scrolling or making a cut.
But I thought I'd report this so people are aware and either not upgrade to Big Sur for now or Adobe can fix it before the public release of Big Sur.4 votesThis is fixed in the Audition (Beta) 13.0.11 build that is available in the Beta apps section of the Creative Cloud Desktop Application. This will be fixed in the next release of Audition as well.

Multitrack - razor tracks without stopping playback
It would be a massive time saver if it were possible to razor tracks during playback without having to stop playback first. It's possible to do this in Premiere Pro, and I'd like to see the same feature in Audition's Multitrack. I'm in a position where I find it faster to rough cut multitrack speech programming in video editing software than audio software!

There should be a easier way to check room tone length in the end of tracks - track length sync / selection align right / reverse multitrack
For audiobook production purposes there are lots of standards.
For example: https://www.acx.com/help/acx-audio-submission-requirements/201456300#Head-Tail-Spacing
There are 2 big major problems in Audition (ACX standards).
1- The separate track file lengths are not synchronized with the lengths shown in multitrack editor and there is no easy way to do that. (If you delete some part of the original track the length of the multitrack version stays the same, what is the purpose of that?)
2-There is no easy way to check room tone length in the end of tracks
If you have over 100 tracks in multitrack you have to do that manually…

Bug Report: Playback issues when using VST3 plugins
When I'm editing in the multitrack, and I have a VST-3 plugin on a bus or a master chain (in this case: a reverb from Waves, but it also happens with other plugins), stopping playback and then initiating playback again will play a bit of the reverb trail when the playback starts back up.
I'm using the latest version of Audition CC on MacOS 10.15.7.
It's like the audio engine is continuing to process the reverb in the background, and then when you start playback again, it will pick up where it left off when you stopped. It doesn't affect…

bug report
Dears,
When in Multitrack modus, and using keyframes for volume changes inside clips (tracks), Phase Analysis stops working when a volume envelop keyframe hits the infinity point!
I hope you can fix this as soon as possible.
I use newest Audition version and newest Windows 10
64 Pro operating system.
All the best from a long time user.Matthijs Vos

Being able to nest multi-track sessions
I would LOVE to be able to link multi-track sessions to one another like pre-composing in AE. I find my multi track sessions get so busy so quickly as I use a lot of sound layers in my work and not having dynamic links to other multi tracks makes it really hard for me to have an efficient workflow.

An option to attach markers to clips in multitrack view, rather than attaching them to the timeline
Currently in Audition's multitrack editor, markers can only be attached to the timeline. It would be helpful to have an option to attach markers to individual clips, so that when those clips are moved in the timeline the markers move with them.
The only way to achieve this right now is to go into waveform view and place a marker there. This is pretty inconvenient and involves a lot of clicking back and forth between views.

improve clip fade handle function in multitrack for speed of use
As a podcast and long form voiceover editor it would be incredibly helpful if the clip fade box in the top right and left corner had some preferences for size. the square is tiny.
a huge part of my time editing dialogue is fading clips at the start to iron out bumps from room tone and cutting mid word like to remove an "uhm". To do this, I have to ripple delete, then select the clip, then grab the tiny little box, pull fade, and move along.
It would be nice if we had a preference to make that box…

Implement Premiere's synchronization of audio
For something like podcast editing, synchronization would be an awesome feature. We can record the call that we're on to use as the base - and then sync the raw audio from our microphones to the call audio to make sure that our responses are at the right time, to quickly be able to delete that and focus on making the audio itself sound good, rather than spending extra time lining up everybody's audio just right. It'd be great to have it be a native feature instead of trying to do it in Premiere first!

The ability to write comments on any kind of track in multitrack.
Sometimes I need a specific explanation of the track, but it doesn't exist in the current system. I would like to be able to add a Comment function to any kind of track like the attached photo.

Move multiple markers at once
I do a lot of audios with multiple markers and have to move audios several times, adding some more or cutting others.
In this matter, I have to move several markers at once and it is currently impossible. What works though is inserting a silence to move all the next markers at once, but that's not convenient at all because it has to break some tracks.
So having a simple feature that, after having selected several markers in the "marker panel", allow us to move these markers with a duration would be a huge time saving !

Show Through Edit
Coming to Audition from Premiere, to edit podcasts. Would love the option in the multitrack editor timeline to turn on "through edit" symbols. I really rely on these in Premiere to know if a cut is continuous.

Synchronize Audio with Merge Clips function
I'm looking to algorithmically sync audio recorded from different sources within audition just like in Premiere Pro.

Add the ability to annotate any kind of track in multitrack.
Like Pro Tools, I want to be able to describe each track in detail by annotating each track individually. I want to be able to annotate any kind of track that can be used in multitrack, whether it is an audio track or a bus track.

Disable auto scroll permanently
Please allow auto-scroll in the multi track editor to be disabled permanently, so it doesn't turn itself back on every time I play/pause the session.

The ability to select multiple clips on a track and do a mass ripple delete without deleting all the clips
If I want to delete empty space I have to go in manually and delete every single gap. As a DND podcaster, this is extremely tedious and time consuming. If I could select multiple clips on a track and do a mass ripple delete without losing any clips that would be so great! Especially since all these recent updates have made Audition extremely laggy and it takes 10 seconds to get the **** needle to move where I want it.

Please design a button to link the track envelopes to items.
Or just add the ripple edit(link) feature as the other daws. It is really convenient and necessary for sound designers.
Here is a picture of action list in Reaper. The developers should have a look.5 votes
