Just as the mirror plugin but works with shape layers preserving resolution

When typing very long words using a paragraph text, at some point (after a certain amount of characters), the text just disappears completely. Especially when using text to create walls of numbers or something (not using expressions to maintain the control) this gets very annoying. This bug has been filed 2010 already and is still present.

What is the meaning of "Save as" and "Copy to Clipboard" functions on Keyboard Shortcut dialog if you can't restore the saved setting if you reinstall the app???

If you need to relink H.264 footage, after allowing After Effects search and relink this footage, the relinked footage will lose the Variable Frame Rate options (Interpret Footage > More Options) and default to Preserve Audio Sync. Also, the More Options button is greyed out.

There's a pick whip icon to the right of the Layer Control UI element (in the effects) but apparently it serves no function whatsoever.
Either:
A) The pick whip icon should go so as to not mislead the user.
B) Better yet, to justify its presence there, expression support should be added to the layer selector, as expected.

Suddenly the filename increment on Increment And Save has changed; and no option to change it to how it used to be OR simply to how you want it to be. The date thing is super confusing! Unless I'm missing the setting? Would love control over this. Now I have to hit "Save As..." and increment the save myself.

This bug has been driving me crazy! every time i click out of after effects (on the desktop) AE hides itself. So if im trying to drag in footage i have no where to drop. Running all the latest.

I heard adobe is aware of the bug and that it only happens to some people. Even if the fix is a plist delete, anything would be helpful

I have tested the new system of master property on nested compositions.

I would like to use it for rigging character, but the pupet tool doesn't working for now.

The concept is great, i think but very limited without this basic feature !
Could you make this system compatible to pupet tools, please.

When accessing the "Source Text" property from script, after effect throw an error. This wasn't the case previously.

How to reproduce :
Simply create a comp, add a text Layer, select it.
Then run the following script

It will throw
After Effects error: Can't get color, this text has no stroke.

And if you inspect the property value, the stroke attribute also has the error.

Often when running the Convert Expression to Keyframes action, the program will freeze a short while in, returning to normal once the process has completed. While my hardware is low-end, a process like this shouldn't need to use memory in a fashion that results in the program hanging.

No matter what project i open, after a while out of nowhere AE will crash. i'm not given an error message and the computer function fine but i have to restart the software every time, sometimes every 5 minutes. Often it'll happen while i am selecting something and am trying to drag it around.

Bug: iMAc main Screen as Mercury, with main GUI on Thunderbolt display sometimes fails. Not sure if it is sleep, or lack of RAM, but restart needed to get it back. Latest versions as of 6July2018.
Unusual set up I know but would be good to check and support it if possible.

Replacing an image sequence @[x]FPS in PR with an AE composition results in AE overriding the clip framerate with the setting in AE>preferences>import>sequence footage.

This is counter-intuitive, and can lead to a massive loss of time fixing the problem. It is reasonable to expect the clip to have the same frame rate, as the point of Dynamic Linking is surely to allow seamless movement between applications.
