Essential Graphics in Render Queue
Exposing Essential Graphics/Essential Properties in the Render Queue would let us quickly render out variations of a single composition without having to create several copies of a comp within the project.
I could see this as either a tab in the Render Settings dialog, or possibly an entirely new Render Item row that sits between Render Settings and Output Modules when a comp has properties in Essential Graphics.
Bonus points if this Essential Graphics render item row could be scriptable or tie into CSV/TSV/JSON data. This would be great for automated headless rendering. (But maybe this is a separate feature request?)
Use cases could be quickly rendering out color variations, changing/modifying/versioning text, pretty much all the things we'd normally have to nest and duplicate comps in the project panel for… but without cluttering up the project panel.
In an effort to improve communications between you and the After Effects team, we are moving this feedback forum to the After Effects page on the Adobe Support Community. As requested, bugs and feature requests will be able to live separately in that forum. If you have an item here that did not make the migration, please bring it over to our new home.
See you soon on the Adobe Support Forum!
