Dark Mode support in MacOS
import and save and close windows are light when they should be dark when system dark mode is on. please please please fix this, I've been waiting years for this to be fixed but somehow not fixed yet.

Hi Christine. Thanks for your reply. Photoshop and Illustrator support Mac OS Dark mode, but when you use the save and open windows in After Effects they always use the light interface. This would be a massive help to eye strain in the dark hours of working if this could be fixed. please please please! Feel free to ask for any more information. I'm not requesting that the save and open windows are changed by after effects, just that after effects supports making save and open windows dark when the system is in dark mode. Thank you!

Hi Richard,
The import, save and close windows are controlled by the operating system rather than by After Effects. This means their color palette unfortunately doesn't update with the settings in the After Effects preferences.
I will still add this as a feature request to see if there is something we could do about that going forward. Thanks for writing in.

Hi Alex. Which browsing interface are you referring to? Some areas, such as if you are importing footage, are controlled by the operating system rather than AE.

The save and open UI dialogue boxes should support the macOS Mojave dark mode. All of the rest of After Effects UI looks great dark, so it is strange dark mode has not been supported yet.
