How can we improve After Effects?

Close without saving

I do not always want to save my project!
Please allow me to close the application without saving!
Windows11 / latest AE
Strange new behaviour forces me to save.
It is like not being allowed to leave a restraunt unless you finish your plate!

    Tristan,

    We have no idea what is happening with AE on your system. There has been no change regarding quitting without saving since AE 1.0.

    Could you provide a screen recording of what you are experiencing?

    Are you running any scripts or other AE extensions that might be interfering with the shutdown process?
