Multi-frame Rendering Stops Working
[AE 22.1.1 (Build 74)]
About 2/3'rds of the way multi-frame rendering seems to stop working when rendering my project. Initially it renders around 10 - 13 frames at the same time. This then drops down to only rendering 1 frame at a time (sometimes going up to 2 frames, but then down again to 1). Nothing in the project changed. This happens during the actual render. Seems this thread (https://community.adobe.com/t5/after-effects-discussions/help-with-multi-frame-rendering/m-p/12603954#M189246) is experiencing like-wise behavior from AE. Definitely think this is a bug, so really not gonna waste time trying to re-install, etc as the thread above have tried all that with no success. He's still waiting on Adobe employees to respond since December. Hopefully we can get an update from Adobe on this.

I'm experiencing this as well. At first it builds up to 20+ frames, then dwindles back down to 1. Not doing anything else on my computer that takes resources.
I've found that if I pause and then resume the render, it builds back up to lots of concurrent frames again, but still falls back to 1 after a little while.I've monitored temps and cpu is not getting too hot.

128GB 3200 ram
2TB m2 cache driveI'd share my file, but I'm keying lots of large 4k clips and can't send those. But I'm just using keylight/key cleaner/spill suppressor and a lumetri adjustment.
Happy to engage with support to get to the bottom of this.

Hi Petrus
We have not seen something like this internally.
- What is the version of your operating system e.g. Windows , macOS 12.1, etc?
- What are your hardware specs? CPU/RAM/Video CardWould it be possible for us to examine the files you're seeing this on? Could you upload it somewhere and send a link to aebugs@adobe.com.
