Support 5.1 Audio Directly from After Effects
Being able to take an interleaved 5.1 audio WAV file and render it onto a final MOV as true multi-track (as opposed to current flattening to stereo) would be revolutionary for our Graphics department. This would alleviate the need to re-render out of Premiere to incorporate 5.1 audio onto final graphics files.

Also it seems not able to handle 24 bit audio yet. The waveform view is slow, and audio support in AE seems clunky and needs an engine rewrite in general.
If a musical WAV (or any footage, actually) is Interpreted to repeat, it would be good to be able to see the point where it does, and snap the cursor to that point, as if it were a footage end.

It's not a simple fix at all, After Effects has never supported more than stereo from the start in 1992. Your only hope is to help me create this feature for you

I totally agree....this would alleviate extra steps in the process that are unnecessary and time consuming...when it's one graphic it's not a problem, but the volume we do makes this a worthwhile addition.
