AE 2022 fails to export to Media Encoder 2022
Hello! Since upgrading my Adobe suite to the latest 2022 versions I haven't been able to export my files from After Effects to the Media Encoder. When I'm ready to render I'll go to "File > Export > Add to Adobe Media Encoder Queue..." as usual, but nothing actually shows up in Media Encoder's Queue. I've sat and waited long enough, staring at Media Encoder, mentally willing the file to go through the dynamic link that my boss started poking at me with a sharp stick to see if I was still alive... I've had a similar lack of luck exporting from AE to ME in different ways.
I've removed all the third party plugins I could identify and find, but that didn't help either. I've restarted the software probably nineteen times, and have rebooted my iMac several times as well, but alas and alackaday, the problem persists. I've fiddled with various settings in AE and ME, but...
If anyone has a solution to this I'd be very grateful! (At the moment I'm using the "export via AE as a .MOV, import the .MOV to ME, export as H.264" workaround, but that's adding several steps to my workflow.)
I'm working on a Late 2015 27" iMac with Big Sur (v. 11.6), 32 GB RAM.

Hi everyone,
Thanks very much to everyone who collected and sent in log files. The cause of the issue has been identified as specific to After Effects running on macOS, with a fix now available in After Effects version 22.0.1, which can be downloaded through the Creative Cloud Desktop app. After updating to AE 22.0.1, please restart your machine to ensure that any processes which might be blocking Dynamic Link have been closed before attempting to send any comps from AE to Adobe Media Encoder.
In order to help us distinguish between the Mac-only issue that was introduced in 22.0.0 and other pre-existing issues with sending AE comps to Media Encoder, we are closing this report as “Resolved”.
If you are still experiencing this issue on Windows or after updating to 22.0.1, please either create a new UserVoice post or find an existing one that matches the problem you are seeing. We understand that existing issues with sending comps to Media Encoder may not be resolved for you, but it is critical that we keep the issues separate in order to properly investigate and isolate any failures.
Thank you all for reporting this issue, and we apologize for any disruptions this breakage may have caused,

One successful use of AE --> AME, but then AE wouldn't send export to the queue. Trying instead to bring in the comp in AME, but it will not recognize the project at all.

Hello, I am using Windows operating system. I am using After Effects 2022 current version. But I am having codec problem with mp4 formatted videos. Videos appear in green. I installed extra codec pack but the problem is not solved. But I don't have such a problem in AE 2020 version! Thank you in advance for your recommendations.

We have similar problem on Windows latest AE & Encoder update (ver 22.1.1) as of today (03 Feb 2022).
There must be a bug in the codes that stops the render halfway. Same file can be rendered without any problem using AE 2021 version.
Please address this problem asap!

This is NOT resolved - or at least, I'm having this issue on my M1 max running OSX 12.1 with AE 22.1.1 and ME 22.1.1.
I'll send the export to Media Encoder Queue and then nothing happens. The queue stays empty. First file worked (it appeared in the list after a couple of seconds) but after closing ME and exporting another file - dead. List empty.
NEVER MIND: It's the ME workspace that changes without me changing it. I had to revert it to get the QUEUE back. Bullcrap.

I concur with and echo the sentiments of, the eloquent Mr Wooster. The way Adobe and the video product teams handle development in general, and communication with their users in particular, should be a cause for great embarrassment to them. We do not get value for money.
