Allow altering Time Remapping on Replaced footage in MOGRTs
I work for an in-house media team and we create a lot of branded MOGRTs for our editors to use, some of which require asset replacement. I cant pin down the intricacies of when Time Remapping works and doesnt work when replacing the asset but I'd love to be able to adjust the Time Remapping of an imported layer confidently when using a MOGRT in Premiere when controlling TR with expressions. I know there is a warning in AE when exporting a MOGRT that Time Remapping isnt supported in replaced layers and I would love for it to be supported. Often time what happens is when the asset has TR applied to it, it plays at the In-Point of the MOGRT, not where it lies in the timeline.

Thanks for the Feature Request, Craig.
There are current limitations to the way Premiere and Tiny Inception AE™️, which powers and renders Media Replacement Mogrts in Premiere, communicate frames. This is why Time-Remapping and Time effects are not currently supported with Media Replacement.
Staggering the true In-Points of the layers used as Media Replacement controls is supported though. It should be noted that a Trimmed video layer does not represent the true In-Point of that layer though.
Thanks for the feedback,
