Audio pipeline for essential graphics media replacement
Media replacement in Mogrts has been amazing for so many usecases. But as it stands, it is only pushing pixels outside of source compositions.
This means it still does not have a ton of use outside of still images or media without audio.
It would be great if I could use media replacement to replace a video clip in after effects, and have the audio from the replacement video playback as well!
In an effort to improve communications between you and the After Effects team, we are moving this feedback forum to the After Effects page on the Adobe Support Community. As requested, bugs and feature requests will be able to live separately in that forum. If you have an item here that did not make the migration, please bring it over to our new home.
See you soon on the Adobe Support Forum!

How is possible MOGRTs can't support audio?

I can't believe this feature is still not implemented in 2022

Needing this for a waveform mogrt as well. Please move this up in the list!

This would be great! I'm currently working with a template that creates an audio waveform for multiple audio clips and the media replacement feature seemed perfect, but sadly the sound doesn't update. I hope to see this added soon.
This is an awesome Feature Request and one of my biggest dreams too! We've got it on the backlog, but are underway with some other top priorities at the moment. Thanks for the feedback though, and so happy to hear you're rocking Media Replacement out! Its been my favorite feature to work on in the last few years!
