Maintain Footage RGB Interpretation Settings Through Software Updates
Every time CC updates After Effects, it resets my footage color interpretation settings.
I use OpenColorIO and often have my color workspace set to "ACES Academy Color Encoding Specification SMPTE ST"
In order so see the proper color, I must interpret all my footage with the box checked: "Preserve RGB (Disable color management conversions for this item)". The files I often work with are typically Quicktime Prores 4444 movs.
After CC updates to After Effects, I must consistently go through and re-check this box for all my footage. I'm able to somewhat speed up the process using the "remember" and "apply" interpretation options, however its an annoying bug and seems like it would be an easy fix.
Thanks for reading.

Thank you for the report Stephen.
We don't have an open issue or any other reports of the Preserve RGB setting unchecking when opening existing projects in new versions. I just tried a quick repro of the scenario between several different AE versions and the checkbox remained checked as I had set it before saving the project in the previous version.
It seems like I'm missing something.
Could you walk me through the exact steps that result in this happening for you — from initial project creation to when you observe that the checkbox has been reset?
Thx!
