Option to unlink time between multiple comp viewers
When working with multiple viewers, one of which is locked in order to view that precomp, it would be great to have an option to not have the time linked between the locked viewer and the main comp viewer. I have a precomp that is 2 seconds long. It starts about 3 seconds into my main comp. When scrubbing to 0:03 in the main comp, the precomp viewer window goes blank, because the precomp doesn't have enough footage to show, because it's only 0:02 long.

I really wish there was a quick way to toggle this setting, either with a shortcut or button, because going into the Preferences is a major PITA.

I had no idea that option was there. That did the trick. I think my only suggestion would be to make that option a toggle in the comp viewer, because I wouldn't need it turned on all the time, and I can see that getting annoying having to go into Preferences to change that back and forth while working.
Thanks for the help!

Hi Ryan,
Thanks for submitting this request. There is an existing checkbox labeled "Synchronize Time of All Related Items" in the General section of the Preferences that determines if the current time should be linked between related compositions. Please let us know if disabling that preference allows you to work in the way you've described or if an additional feature is needed.
Thanks again,
