Major Bug! : imported EXR getx cut off in After Effects 18.2
In After Effects 18.2 impordet EXR Files gets cropped incorrectly which makes it impossible to work with EXR files.

can confirm this happens in AE 18.4.0 when the EXR is exported from Maya with an over-scanned render. opening the EXR in Photoshop displays the entire image, but AE crops it.
Additional Update: Re-rendering these cropped EXR files through Nuke in a pass-though method fixes the issue and the results are uncropped when imported into AE.

Thank you so much for reporting this. I have verified that the issue is occurring with the test file you attached (SO HELPFUL), and that it was introduced in 18.2.
I am not seeing this same issue with my EXR testfiles, so it may not be a general case issue, but we are investigating further to determine what the actual breakage is and how it got introduced.
In the meantime, I have verified that you can copy the EXR import plugin from After Effects 18.1 to the install folder for After Effects 18.2 (A definite hassle to uninstall and reinstall them, I very much understand) and that will resolve the issue in After Effects 18.2.
