Hardware support must last longer
Two years ago I purchased a top-of-the-range HP laptop for my Adobe work and today it seems Adobe don't care about supporting it.
I know RTX has come out in the last two years and I can confirm my workstation that has an RTX Quadro 4000 runs Adobe without issue - But I need that to be busy rendering 3D.
Meanwhile my Non-RTX laptop cannot run After Effects anymore, despite HP advertising it as "for use with Creative Cloud." It used to work with Adobe, but not any more.
I know Adobe will say, "Upgrade the laptop" but here in the UK a business can only claim tax relief for an asset spread across 4 years. That means I have 2 years of business use left in this device.
I'm now tired of Adobe and their updates. I spend more time waiting for their software to update than I do actually doing work with it.
In an effort to improve communications between you and the After Effects team, we are moving this feedback forum to the After Effects page on the Adobe Support Community. As requested, bugs and feature requests will be able to live separately in that forum. If you have an item here that did not make the migration, please bring it over to our new home.
See you soon on the Adobe Support Forum!
I'm still runnind PS AE and Premiere on Microsoft Surface Pro2 - you can't get a worse machine then that, but they run fine. Slow but no errors. What exactly is happening in your laptop?

What do you mean by "cannot run AE anymore". That's way too unspecific. I work on about six different machines old and new, and never got such a hickup by any means.
