Hitting Enter ↵ should close theEdit Marker dialogue
As someone who creates markers ALL the time in After Effects, it's really annoying when I edit a marker, type in the marker name and hit enter for it to jump down a line rather than close and apply the edit, as expected. I doubt anyone writes marker names with mulitple lines?
It takes my hands off the keyboard to close the dialogue box and this all adds up to wasted time.
It's a small fix, for a small issue but it annoys me every day.

In an effort to improve communications between you and the After Effects team, we are moving this feedback forum to the After Effects page on the Adobe Support Community. As requested, bugs and feature requests will be able to live separately in that forum. If you have an item here that did not make the migration, please bring it over to our new home.
See you soon on the Adobe Support Forum!

If you have a numpad Enter key, that will apply the edit and close the dialog.
This typically works in lots of applications with multi-line text fields (like chat apps), not just AE.

To quickly get out of the text edit box simply press tab. You can pressing tab to cycle through all the fields of that dialog box and you can use it to highlight the ok or cancel button and press enter to perform those button actions without using your mouse.
