Search/filter in Effect Controls
Please add a search/filter bar to the Effect Controls panel to make finding parameters quicker and easier. Twirling down endless nested categories many plugins have is tiresome, slow and unnecessary.

no, that only searches for plugins/presets. If you read my post, I call for filter that searches for **parameters**. So, for example, if I want to work with "Color at birth" in the CC Particle World plugin, I don't have to either remember that it is Particle->Custom Color Map or untwirl all the menus until I find this parameter. Look at how conveniently Blender or Unreal Engine editor implement this.

The Effects and Presets panel is designed to do exactly this.
