Fix scrolling and pinch to zoom when using Wacom products
I use a Wacom Intuos Pro M, I use two finger scrolling and pinch to zoom on both my home and work machines. (Home mid15 Macbook Pro running Catalina 10.15.7, Work 15 iMac running Mojave which I cannot update).
This works fine in all software except After Effects, where nothing happens in any window. I know it's possible as I can use two finger scrolling and pinch to zoom in my timeline and other windows using my Macbook touchpad. And that is the exact functionality that should happen with the Wacom.
Yes I can work around by re-arranging my grip on the pen and using pre-set buttons. But I shouldn't need to, I should be able to use the Wacom as a touchpad just like the Mac touchpad and like I can in other Adobe software with the same hardware.

Found out something new with this, scrolling works fine if Ae is in the background, e.g. I have chrome window open and on top, I place my cursor in the Ae timeline and touchpad scroll works fine. Once in Ae it no longer works and actually stops this functionality from working on other software in the background.

I have just discovered something awkward. I can scroll in After Effects using my tablet, but to do so I make a pinch gesture. To zoom I hold alt and make a pinch gesture. Neither of which are ideal, the scroll is very slow and the zoom feels clunky.
