Nulls Shouldn't Open in Layer Window
Small but time-saving suggestion, please disallow Null objects opening in the Layer window.
When using the keyboard shortcut to add a null to the stage, I habitually hit Return to name the layer, however this instead opens the newly-created Null in the Layer window.
