Interface is extremely laggy and slow.. It's affecting my workflow and career. Please fix this issue already.
Dear AE team just please put all your attention and effort into fixing this dumb bug and making your clients happy. not asking you to invent fire, it's not rocket science, just make it work better like in previous versions.
I see I'm not the only one suffering from this problem, it's among customers with high resolution screens. narrowed it down for you. Really frustrated with you.

I have the same problem. Switched from a 1080p to 4K secondary screen, to keep the timeline on. Merely viewing many keyframes (shape layers) makes the whole program lag, especially when zooming in and out on the timeline.
Also viewing waveform of audio layers makes the timeline lag. You really need to fix this, it's driving me completely nuts. I can't work in a software with 2 fps response time. Keep misselecting because of the lag in responsiveness. I'm working on a fast workstation. Other programs work like they should.
