Bug - Wrong speed when playing the audio file

I am new to Adobe Effects and am currently testing the application.

I have created a new composition and added an audio file. When I play the composition. the music plays sometimes normal, sometimes too slow.

I can't imagine that it is a feature. Especially since there was no notification or similar. In any case, this does not work as expected... In any other video editing program there is no problem playing the file.

    Hi Dieter,

    Thank you for reporting this issue. Does this still occur in the latest 18.0 version of After Effects? If so, is it with any audio file or only specific audio file types?

    Sometimes the rendering of video frames can cause audio to playback at a lower pitch as the video renders. Try doing an audio-only preview using the Numpad . key ( or control + . on macOS ) to see if that helps.
