OpenEXR from Blender is not working in AE.
Blender multilayered EXR is not importing into AE.
Getting wired error message: "GingerProxy Error: Error loading file:[...]"

Okay...
Everything was caused by plugin GingerHDR.

Also, perhaps try disabling Ginger on your system.

Could you possibly provide a sample EXR that is failing for you?
Also, which versions of Blender and AE are you using?
