I encountered a phenomenon that the preview freezes when processing in a specific order on Windows version cc2020 (17.1.4).
It occurred even if I tried it on another PC in the same environment.

Steps to occur

1. Create a composition. (Including precompose)
   ↓


2. Read the aep file.
   ↓


3. Duplicate the composition created before reading the aep file on the project window.
   ↓


4. Duplicate the duplicated composition further. (The preview of the composition you create later will not be updated.)
   ↓


5. If you erase the layer in the composition that was duplicated for the second time after the preview freezes,
   You will be notified of the error "After Effects error: strange situation [0/1]. (26, 82)".
   (Even if you delete the layers of other compositions, you will not be notified of the error.)

When I tried it,
It occurred even if I did not perform 1 to 5 in succession with another work between the steps.
Clearing the cache didn't fix it.
It was fixed when I reopened the project.
It did not happen in Windows version cc2019 (16.1.3).

Windows版cc2020(17.1.4)で特定の順序で処理を行うとプレビューが固まる現象に遭遇しました。
同じ環境の別のPCで試しても発生しました。

発生する手順

　1、コンポジションを作成する。（プリコンポーズも含む）
　↓
　2、aepファイルを読み込む。
　↓
　3、aepファイルを読み込む前に作成したコンポジションをプロジェクトウィンドウ上で複製する。
　↓
　4、複製したコンポジションを更に複製する。(以降作成するコンポジションのプレビューが更新されなくなります。)
　↓
　5、プレビューが固まる現象が出た後に2回目に複製したコンポジション内のレイヤーを消すと、「After Effects エラー：strange situation[0/1].(26、82）」とエラーの通知が出ます。（他のコンポジションのレイヤーを消してもエラーの通知は出ません。）

私の方で試してみたところ、
手順の間に別の作業を挟んで1～5を連続で行わなくても発生しました。
キャッシュの消去では直りませんでした。
プロジェクトを開き直すと直りました。
Windows版cc2019（16.1.3）では起きませんでした。
