Magenta Color Shift when exporting ProRes4444 with AE2020 on Windows
In AE2020 Exporting a clip as ProRes4444 Millions of Colors on Windows results in an Output with a color shift towards Magenta. This can only be resolved by changing the codec to Trillions of colors.
Also when Using ProRes 4444 XQ with the same color settings the color shift gets an additions Gamma shift problem.
On AE 2019 this issue was not there. Also on Mac this issue can not be seen.
We tested it on multiple Windows machines and on all of them the problem appears with AE 2020 v.17.1.4
Please fix this problem

The least thing I want to be doing is checking color integrity after rendering. Like, this is a thing that the app is meant to do nothing less than flawlessly.

This is terrible. It is still there. I thought we left color shifts behind in 2010 or so... 😠

I haven't recognized this ProRes bug yet but ProRes 4444 has many more bugs and it's totally broken in AE 17.1.4:
- After Effects interprets all ProRes 4444 files as "Millions of Colors" (8bit) although they are "Trillions of colors" (16bit)
- Rendering ProRes 4444 with RGB+Alpha with "Alpha Premultiplied" results in wrong Alpha Channel! "Alpha Straight" is OK and works.
- Rendering with "Millions of Colors (8bit)" Data Rate and file size is higher then with "Trillions of Colors (16bit)"! Should be the opposite!!! Whats wrong here?
Adobe please fix this **** I need to work!

Thank you for reporting these issues. We have reproduced the magenta shift it in-house and will work on a fix. I am not seeing the game shift with XQ however. Could you please give me some more info about your steps to reproduce the incorrect output and what apps/settings you're using to validate the output.
