BUG: Double clicking keyframe in timeline does not open keyframe properties
When double clicking a keyframe in the timeline the keyframe properties do not open, only the keyframe is selected. You need to manually right click and edit the keyframe to change values.
This issue only started when updating to AE Version 17.1.3 (Build 41) on Windows 10.

Fixed in September release 17.1.4

@Dacia, This is good and bad news. I'm so glad this BUG has been fixed. However, I had to roll back AE to 17.1.3 because it was crashing 3-4 times a day since it was installed. Looks like another BUG needs fixed. Looking forward to 17.1.5 I guess :(

Hi Y'all!
Thanks for your patience with this one. If you download the latest version 17.1.4, you will find that the bug has been fixed.
And if you're interested in getting bug fixes sooner than later... make sure and check out the Beta App! The fix has been in those builds for a few weeks.
Cheers,

Thank you for explaining @Dacia. At least that makes sense :)

Hi Michael and Jonathan!
We have not done away with this feature. It is a bug that slipped past us in the last release. It will be fixed in the next release which given our recent cadence is soon! It is also already fixed in our Beta builds so if you navigate to the Beta tab in the Creative Cloud App, you can download Beta AE and be back in business.
Apologies again for the inconvenience,
Dacia -

Why in God's name would you do away with this feature? Was the AE world clamoring to have less control? Was this an oversight? Either way, please put it back. Listen to your users. Do a Google search on this. A lot of people are upset about this. Please put it back.

Yes! Please bring this feature back. Major slow down to have to right click and select "edit value."

Oh! I should also mention... the fix for this is already in the Beta version of AE. So if you haven't had a chance to go check that out, simply navigate to the Beta Apps tab of Creative Cloud Desktop app and download! These are updating almost daily and will include fixes for bugs as well as new features that we're trying out and would love your feedback on :)

Thanks @Ronny! Thats very kind of you to say. :)
My apologies again for the pain point but we'll get you back on track asap! -
