ALT+drag copy/duplicate
I would like to see ALT+Drag to copy/duplicate for layers in the timeline and assets in the project panel. Its a standard function for the rest of the adobe suite and for some reason its missing from AE. There's not even an alternate function, its just missing. I understand holding alt and dragging selected key frames in the timeline does temporal stretch. so I see why it might be harder to implement for key frames without upsetting current functions. But, this seems to be a missing feature that would be widely appreciated for those of us that use the wider adobe tool set.

If I had $5 bucks for every time I've clicked and dragged with the option key in AE after just having come back from Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Premiere Pro I could buy a few shares of Adobe stock.

But yes please add this! -

One big reason this is a good idea is that if you have ALT+Drag=Duplicate muscle memory and you're working quickly in AE, it gets pretty alarming when you start moving layers all over the place & screwing up your comp instead of duplicating them like you expect to do. I think keeping ALT+Drag behavior consistent in this case would be a simple way to help prevent a lot of soiled underwear.

Ctrl+D is the Duplicate command, but as the rest of the adobe suite also uses Alt+Drag to duplicate it becomes part of the work flow and should be implemented in AE.

It should be standard behavior in the Composition Window for ALT+Drag = Duplicate.
