Newer versions of After Effects 2020 read Prores files wrong
The way After Effects 2020 reads prores colors is very different between its first few versions, next to the several new ones.
This is very obvious on Prores+Alpha footage and must be fixed. You can easily see the problems when comparing the same footage between After Effects and Premiere. Where Premiere reads the files correctly and AE does not!

Hi Daniel,
Thank you for reporting this issue. Is it a specific flavor of ProRes which is not rendering correctly? And which version of After Effects 2020 is showing the issue? The latest available version is 17.1.
If you are able to send a sample file of the footage, it would help us to narrow down what is going wrong.
Thank you again for reporting this issue,

Could you please indicate the specific versions of AE and PPro that are/are not working as you expect? Thx!
