Opt-out of the installation of Cinema 4D R21 when installing After Effects
Add a checkbox or something to allow users to opt-out of the installation of Cinema 4D R21 when installing After Effects.
I already have a valid perpetual license for Cinema 4D R19 Studio. R21 is pointless as it only allows me to use a trial license or purchase a license. The application is useless for those who already own a commercial license.
To make matters worse, I must uninstall it every time there is an update for After Effects. Quite frankly, I consider it bloatware. It useless and it wastes space on my hard drive.
I understand that there are people who don’t already own C4D who would find this useful which I why I think the ability to opt-out would make both sides happy.

Adobe is not a company who cares! They are known for their bloatware! When a company uses its own super slow dumb installer rather than InstallShield (with no fully working uninstaller), what do you expect from them?

C4D should have a separate installer in the CC suite. It's third party software that I didn't ask for, is forced onto my pc and requires a separate license for full functionality. This really stinks of an inappropriate business deal made between Adobe and Maxon.
And it's clear Victoria didn't even read your comment, since she doesn't address any of your concerns

The version of Cinema4D that comes with AE is not trial/purchase only: it gives you access to the C4D Lite feature set as part of your CC subscription. You can also choose a time-limited trial of the full version when you register, and it will revert to Lite after that. Some newer functionality is enabled in Lite, however, so it's worth a look if you want to use features that aren't available in your perpetually-licensed version.
