Dynamic Link After Effects projects within After Effects projects
When transitions between scenes are more complex using Premiere to dynamic link AE comps isn't an option. Being able to dynamic link .aep files within .aep files would allow multiple users to work simultaneously on different precomps while not disturbing or overwriting the master comp.
When we're up against deadlines we need 2-3 animators working at the same time. It would save a lot of time not to collect a comp work on it, bring it back in and replace the old one or simply waiting for one animator to finish their task before another can open the file and make their changes.

In an effort to improve communications between you and the After Effects team, we are moving this feedback forum to the After Effects page on the Adobe Support Community. As requested, bugs and feature requests will be able to live separately in that forum. If you have an item here that did not make the migration, please bring it over to our new home.
See you soon on the Adobe Support Forum!

Teams does not replicate this unfortunately. It is not neccessarily to allow for multiple users to work on one project.
It is for one large project to contain a series of .aep projects that are dynamically linked rather than imported with all assets etc. So when one of the linked projects is changed, that change can be seen in the large "master" project.

What we want is: to be able to import linked .eap files within a team project and for those .eap files to be dynamic and modified when the original .eap file is changed.
Another very useful feature would be the possibility to link team projects within team projects, where it is possible to transfer files easily from one project to another, without having to load all assets in only one project. A ctrC-ctrV between projects would be a good idea too -

Yeah. He said that having to push changes was cumbersome. And he wished that changes were made live in real time like other cloud based teamwork apps.

Hi Boone,
Thanks for your quick reply. I'd love to know more about your coworkers experience with Team Projects as this is the path we are following for users working on a shared project.
I'm also adding your request in our backlog.
Cheers,

@sebatien I hadn't heard of that. My coworkers said that they've had miserable experiences with it. Really all we want to do is dynamic link .aep within .aep without importing so that we can individually work on scenes while maintaining a master .aep that has the transitions and camera moves unaffected.

Hello Boone,
If I understand your workflow, you need several artists to work on the same project at the same time.
Did you have the chance to try Team Projects? https://helpx.adobe.com/team-projects/using/getting-started.html
Team Projects allows exactly what you describe, with version control and conflict resolve. Could this match your needs?
