AE 17.0.06 won't export to Media Encoder
Couldn't get AE to export to media encoder. I would hit export to media encoder and media encoder would open automatically, but no file would ever pop up in the queue. I tried dragging the comp into the media encoder queue and it would then appear in the queue but would fail on render with the error saying couldn't find file. I tried adding the project/comp from the "plus" within media encoder but it said it couldn't find project. Tried other projects, same problem.
Tried the options suggested on Adobe website (renaming the media encoder folders, changing mercury playback to software only, etc) -- no luck.
Tried uninstalling and reinstalling AE and Media Encoder (Kept preferences) but still had the issue. Tried uninstalling AE, PR, and AME (remove preferences) plus computer restart. Still had issue.
Uninstalled AE and AME installed 17.0.04 and it works fine.
I'm on a windows 10 laptop.

John, on my end, I believe I tried the queue in AME option with no luck, but I'm not 100% sure. It's possible I didn't try that. Antoine, I do own a copy of afterCodecs, but didn't try it. If I run into the issue again I'll give it a whirl.

Could you try with AfterCodecs ? https://www.autokroma.com/AfterCodecs/

I am having the same issue, have not had time to try a reinstall. As a workaround sending files to the AE render queue then selecting them there and clicking the Queue in AME button works.
