Selective Loading of Third Party Apps at Startup in Premiere and AE
So, this would be an Advanced Option:
At startup, you would have the ability, via a key-combination, to have a list of third party add-ons and via a set of checkboxes, load or not load Apps you suspect may be creating trouble (ie - crashes or other issues like lock-ups or severe slow downs).
Normal loading would not see this option. Only after pressing this somewhat obscure key combination would the user see this list of add-ons with, by default, checkboxes already checked, to enable the existing installed add-ons. Then at that point, the user would be able to selectively enable or disable that add-on from loading.
I know you start both Premiere and AE without all add-ons, but this is not granular enough. To really dig down and understand that a given crash, or issue with Premiere or AE is not Premiere or AE or some other third party add-on, to really diagnose the issue you would need to selectively load add-ons.
This feature could also save Adobe's staff and the reputation of it's software a great deal of time, effort and improve the quality of the software enormously.
