About removing the Pro Import plug-in on MacOS
Sorry about the ranting, but this made me very disappointed to Adobe again:
So, Adobe and Mac combination is not for pro users?
First Adobe disabled exporting Prores XQ on Mac, now latest update (17.0.4.) disables Pro Import plugin, making importing AAF, OMF, FCP XML impossible - even I don't use macOS Catalina!
In Orwellian way, this is listed under "Bug fixes"! Made me spill my coffee.
At least add a warning sign to get user attention before pressing update!
If Premiere can import some of these formats, why not After Effects?
I would imagine Adobe's $11 billion annual revenue would allow hiring capable code writers...?

In an effort to improve communications between you and the After Effects team, we are moving this feedback forum to the After Effects page on the Adobe Support Community. As requested, bugs and feature requests will be able to live separately in that forum. If you have an item here that did not make the migration, please bring it over to our new home.
See you soon on the Adobe Support Forum!

if anyone knows about a plugin for Ae on Mac that imports AAF same as pro-import please post it here. this is a big problem for users on mac since the premiere AAF importer lacks the modify settings the Ae pro-import has.
specifically these settings https://imgur.com/a/7yEf4hM
