Missing fonts not reported in CC2020
The program doesn't alert the user when a font is missing - just replaces the font with Myriad Pro. Then, when one clicks on the font, it doesn't update with the parentheses, so you can't see what font you need to add.

No, the box wasn't checked. I've actually had a problem with both Creative Cloud fonts and other fonts. In today's case, it was a font that wasn't available in the Creative Cloud library. Yesterday, however, I had gotten a font from Creative Cloud, and it wouldn't show up in the options. I tried restarting After Effects, re-logging into CC, and restarting the computer. It would show up in the fonts list on the Creative Cloud app, but not in After Effects.
Would you mind checking to see if "Do not warn me about missing fonts when project is open" is checked in your Preferences > Type?
Do you know if the fonts you are missing are a part of the Adobe Fonts collection or third-party?
If they are Adobe Fonts, can you check to make sure that the Creative Cloud Desktop App is open and connected to the internet?
