After Effects doesn't recognize SWFs if the SWF is placed on a server. Full brakes the whole workflow for any studio using Animate CC...

Hi John,
This only happens on the macOS computers at the office. It is consistent across all macs running AE 2020.
This happens only with AE 2020 and not the previous versions.
We're using QNAP nas.
If SWFs are placed locally it opens fine.
Error happens no matter the SWF opened if its on the server.

Hi Johannes,
This is John from the After Effects team. Sorry to see you're having this issue with SWF files on a server. If possible, providing some more details about your setup may help us to identify the source of the issue:
- Is After Effects installed on Windows or macOS?
- What type of server is being used? FTP, SMB, NAS, etc
- Is this issue in the most recent version of After Effects & Animate? If so, was it working with a previous version? Thanks very much for any additional information you can provide,
- John
