Go to layer in-point and out-point (shortcuts I and O on layers panel) on AE 2020 not working.
Updated to Ae CC 2020 and going to the beginning or end of a layer isn't possible because the shortcuts (keys I or O) are not working.

This is fixed in After Effects 17.0.1, released last night. Please update and let us know if you’re still seeing any issues.

Hi, I'm having this problem with the input and output shortcuts, however I've gone into the keyboard shortcuts and checked that they are assigned to the letters, yet they are still not working.. I've checked other shortcuts and everything else seems to be working fine... help!!

Had the same problem, fixed it by editing the keyboard shortcuts file, as Victor mentioned. There was no entry for going to layer in and out points whatsoever.
Location of the keyboard shortcuts file on Win 10: C:\Users\"Your Username"\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\After Effects\17.0\aeks
Thanks a lot, Victor!
P.S.: The problem seems to appear when you do a clean install (without importing / migrating preferences or settings from previous version).

Victor has the correct current workaround mentioned, that or importing previous preferences should also fix it (please let me know if that is not the case).
As Tom N has stated, we are looking into this issue. Thank you all for taking the time to post to User Voice.

You have to manually edit the keyboard shortcuts file.
Its name you can find in Edit->Keyboard Shortucts.
Then you should add in ["CCompTime"] section the following lines
"TimeJumpToIn" = "(I)"
"TimeJumpToOut" = "(O)".
This comment fix it.

Same here. Really frustrating - simple shortcuts like this are so handy.

I am experiencing the same issue. Other shortcuts work apart from "i" and "o". They are set in preferences correctly, but don't work.

Same. I also tried rebinding to a different shortcut. It seems the go to layer in-point and out-point commands are simply not working, as a newly created shortcut also does nothing.
