We NEED To be able to access Legacy versions of this software!!
Art does not often move at the same pace as technology. Often times filmmakers work on projects for YEARS in OLDER codecs. It's not recommended to update the software in the middle of an edit. So filmmakers are going to need to have access to install legacy versions of your software! Not just the one or two versions back that is available to download on the creative cloud app. It is absolutely outrageous to pay so much money for software, and then be told in the middle of the project that you can no longer access the software for it. I am working in a project in the 2017 build of the software, and had an issue with after effects. Just tried to download the 14.2.1 build, and was told it is NOT AVAILABLE TO DOWNLOAD. That is absolutely outrageous. Now all of my dynamic linking is broken. You have the software on hand. Let us access it!

Had a similar issue. our workflow needs to stay at on the same version for the duration of the project, which sometimes is more than 2 years, across multiple machines. this new block of access is causing some problems. I'm sure there's some big legal reason on the other end as to why this is happening, but without the option to have a perpetual license in this subscription only model feels a lot like abandoned.
