BUG: Ae associtated with indesign files
Not sure if this is really an AE thing, but I've been force quitting AE all morning so I'm filing this here so you have some idea why (And because there seems to be no official bug reporting for bridge, and this hardly seems like an Indesign problem)
Since installing the new CC updates this morning double clicking on any indesign file causes AE to launch. This is true via bridge and finder, and is not fun as AE takes a while to launch then error out (because unsurprisingly you can't read an indesign file in AE)
Both Bridge and finder have the default open set to indesign. I've managed to reset finder via get info > open with > change all. But Bridge still keeps launching AE regardless of what I do in its file association preferences, so I keep having to force quit AE and get cross.
(macOS HS v 10.13.6)

Thank you for reporting this bug.
This problem was resolved in the April 2019 bug-fix patch for After Effects (version 16.1.1). You can install this release via the Creative Cloud desktop application.

This also seems to be happening with *.ai files.
Again Bridge claimes the default is Illustrator, but AE launches and loads it instead...
