BUG: Undo not updating viewer window until move viewer or zoom
When you undo currently then the viewer doesn't update. The bounding box of what has been undone moves into place but the image doesn't update until you move or zoom into the image
Running AE 16.1
OS: OSX 10.14.4

I think Adobe need to sort out their update cycle, because every year there's some new bug that slows me down while working and frankly I'm sick of paying for it

I am also experiencing the same. If i have certain 3rd party UI panels open, it has this issue.

Oh god not this again!! This is why it took me 3 years to switch off of CS6, I can't believe this bug is back!

This is still going on with the latest update 16.1.1 (Build 4). Now it's even worse for me actually. It beachballs for about 5-10 seconds first. After that, I can sometimes undo again without it freezing, but it still doesn't update the viewer.

Same thing happening to me

I've tried this without Labels and it doesn't seem to make a difference for me. But I suppose it could be another script.

I'm having this exact same problem

Update from my end, it seems to happen with certain downloaded scripts (Labels, Rubberhose 2, Sort It) are open. It seems like AE doesn't like panels which refresh when the mouse hovers over

CC2019-Specific:
When I hit Undo, the Composition panel will not update until I move the time indicator, drag/click an object or zoom/move the comp panel.
The bounding box of an object will move, but nothing else updates until one of the above actions is taken.
Turning off "Hardware Accelerate Composition, Layer, and Footage Panels" does not have any effect on this—Undo's just won't update in the comp panel.

I don't know if it's just me or not, but doing simple things like changing a color of a shape or text and then hitting undo leaves the old color. It must be caching the frame because moving the current time indicator fixes it. It's a little annoying if you're doing an AB comparison using undo/redo. Oddly enough, it changes in the comp preview in the project panel, but not in the actual comp viewer. Or at least it did. It stopped. Also, moving the CTI kills the undo buffer sometimes.
