Color picker or eyedropper picks incorrect color from color swatch in CC Library AE2019.

Actually makes Libraries for sharing Colors throughout the company..uh...useless...or at least costs a lot more time :(

How come this is still not fixed. This is a shame.
I remember that when Libraries came out, they even showed it as a feature that you could use the eyedropper to select a color from the Library.
Please solve this and a lot of other issues, before showing of new features. No one is waiting for new features, but just want their software to work!!!

Eyedropper still not fixed in 22.0.1.
My particular issue is that it fails to sample colour from the library panel. Always grey or some random colour from the interface.
Possible factors:
I have a 4K and an HD monitor. The 4K runs AE in 150% zoom (because it takes a huge performance hit in real 4K - another eyeroll!), the HD monitor set to 100%.Looks like this has been broken for three years.
Ridiculous. -

BUG still continues on 2021, 2022...

I always need to open color and get the color code, is the only way I can get the right color today. (and Using Ray Color Dynamic script too)

Yes please, Color picker pick wrong color from everywhere. Not only Swatch. If i try to pick a color from Ray Color Dynamic palette, it go wrong too. If I try from layer color, wrong, image, wrong. Everyplace.

eydropper picking completly wrong color from library, from everywhere - red is dark blue, green is some king do grey... this is ridiculous

same issue... color picker selects a much lighter shade of whatever color I select

Amanda Maldonado commented
I'd like to just be able to select the library swatch color and it changes the fill. Or to be able to select a fill color from a swatch panel instead of using an eyedropper or hex chart.

shocking feature - set up libraries to share assets, then get wrong colour from assets.
Major fail, please fix asap.

Andre Morrissen commented
My work requires me to adhere to brand-defined colours for which I have a library created. It's unacceptable to not get the exact colour using the colour picker.

please please fix

Please fix! This feature would be so helpful if it was accurate. Clients aren't okay with an "in the ballpark" approach to their brand colors.

This is ridiculous. Just fix it.

Issues still present in 2020.
Honestly what's the point of having swatches in Libraries if it doesn't work?

This used to work. Now it doesn't, and is hugely annoying.

Same issue on MacOS High Sierra 10.13.6. Didn't fixed in AE 2020 with update to Version 17.0.4. I can just confirm: it's very important for brand colors.

Same issue, Windows 10, AE 2019. Color library shows the correct color and hex code, eyedropper changes the code. Very frustrating.

This is also an issue on Windows 10. It's pretty frustrating, especially when working with specific brand colors that have been added to a Library- really defeats the purpose and creates more work when you realize you have to go back and fix every single instance of that color.
