Bug report: new scaling issues with Mercury Transmit in CC 2019
Many users have reported problems with scaling in Mercury Transmit when using multiple screens of different resolution in Windows, especially when one screen (e.g. a 4K laptop screen) has a scaling other than 100%. In my experience, MT worked correctly in AE 2018 if parts of the user interface were spread between at least two screens. This behavior has reversed in 2019: MT only works correctly if the entire user interface is on one screen, but scaling issues arise if any windows are moved onto a second screen (see attached screen shot - MT is the small image in the middle of the screen). There is a strange workaround (open a menu dialogue in AE, open another application outside AE, return to AE); however, more and more users are likely to find themselves mixing and matching 4K and 1080p screens with different scalings as laptop screens move to 4K, so a robust solution to this would be greatly appreciated.
