AE keeps crashing since update
I did the update yesterday, everything worked fine, untill suddenly AE crashed. Since then it keeps crashing the moment I click on anything, no matter which project I open. I then get the following report:
<140735969784704> <BEE_WorkQueue> <5> BEE_Project::TimestampGetNext ZANZIBAR-3: cannot produce timestamp, frozen=0, open=0.
Any ideas how I can fix this?

@Frederick Montero: I highly recommend logging the Media Encoder issue as a separate issue.

A lot of crashes in Mac.
It crashes suddenly, when moving a layer.
It crashes when making the render.
I suppose that the crashes have to do with some shape layers. Also, I have problems when send to render to the Media Encoder, related to changes in colors. The Media Encoder ignore color modifications in shape layers through effects linked by expressions.
I think that the shape layers are the source of the majority of my crash problems.

Here I have the same problem.
I guess it's something related to workspaces and plugins/scripts.
The plugin windows became unresponsive and something is happening and is broking down the Custom Workspaces.
Another issue is that when I prerender, no windows is showing up. From that moment, the entire interface behave like it would have a dialog box window open, but there isn't any.
When I click on tab, some of. them are getting focus, but not signaligt vissually that it does so.
Reveting back to 15.1 seem to work. -

I've had this issue since CC 2018. Deleting and re-creating workspaces has been the only solution so far...

As soon as I open a project in AE and move the time bar, he begins to render, crashes and gives me the following error.
Does anyone have any fixes to report?Thank you

Another fix for me was deleting my custom workspaces and then recreating them.

I'm experiencing the same thing. I've been trouble shooting for most of the day with no luck. I'm now reverting back to v15.1.2 in hopes of accomplishing something today.

I found removing old .swf files fixed it for me. Only took 3 work days to narrow down.

I can't do anything in AE. I was simply masking a layer when all of a sudden I got this really weird error and AE crashed. Now when I open the project, it keeps freezing. So basically the entire application is useless at this moment.

PPPS: Tried rendering again, AE froze. I shut it down, restarted, still frozen. I can't do anything again, but at least it's not crashing anymore ...

PPS: I deinstalled AE, rebooted, installed again. Now it seems to work. Still a bug worth fixing ...

PS: It crashed the first time when I wanted to render a composition.
