Allow the preview thumbnail to be multisizes
A preview thumbnail that has the ability to be sized as big or small as you want.

Huh. I just posted an idea exactly like this...then saw you'd already suggested it! I agree, now that 4K and higher resolution screens are commonplace, the Poster Frame/Thumbnail in the Project Panel is often really small. It'd be nice to be able to right-click it (or use a new option in the little Project menu, underneath Thumbnail Transparency Grid maybe) and set it to a larger size.

I agree, it's too dang small to see any preview of a composition.

It's so hard to sift through footage for motion graphics use in after effects. The best way is to have a finder window, find the clips you need, and then search for that clip in the project window. It's a huge pain that can be avoided if AE had a Scalable thumbnail view for footage and photos like Premiere.

A scalable Thumbnail is needed... it's frekain tiny on a 4k monitor. and invisible on a 5k.
