Null layers should be empty Shape layers rather than Solids
This will prevent unnecessary clutter in the Solids folder.

This would also make compositions more portable between project files. There is often the need to import a specific comp from one project file into another. Currently, you need to find any null solids used in your needed comp and move those so that you can delete the unnecessary parts of the imported project.
