Restore the full support of the Animation Codec
In the 15.1 release After Effects removed the support for the Animation Codec with delta frames. It continues to support the Animation Codec without delta frames. This is an option within the codec window to set keyframes and it is checked by default. I would ask that both the non-keyframe and the keyframe option in the Animation codec be restored. Many of us 3D animators use the codec in it's default mode (delta enabled) and it would be very time consuming to transcode all out work. Thanks
Thank you for filing this request.
We have logged an internal feature request for adding support to the Animation codec for both encoding and decoding delta frames (a.k.a, the “Key frame every X frames” option). It is currently under review for future updates to the Adobe DVA products. At this time I can not share a timeline for when this might happen.

Please bring back support for QT animation regardless of keyframes.
Also, I don't see why Adobe had to remove the ability to READ any QT codec to begin with? There are millions of QT files out there in people's projects that they can't even open now!

Just discovered this myself. Big problem. Like many of us, I used this in hundreds of projects for years. Now all that work is gone. I've got clients asking for revisions. How really hard is it to support this? Because I can see certain exports do still work. Man, I'm telling you, if someone had an alternative to Adobe . . .
Please support this again.
There is no way to transcode Animation codec with delta frames since the requirement to remove unauthorised Adobe versions. Animation.mov archives become inaccessible.

Legacy versions of Adobe After Effects don't seem to work with Animation alpha channels. I just lost access to a crucial codec I've been using for nearly 18 years. This is really the pits. All my old work which has 3D footage with alpha channels is now lost to me. Arg!
QuickTime Animation with Delta frames. This is not supported in the latest version of Adobe. Only the the animation codec without.

Yeah hard to believe :/
There's not a lot of information online about this delta frame feature also

Just got into a chat with tech support. He said that they will bring it back. Somehow I don't believe it.
