Essential graphics panel - Faster workflows through smarter property naming, copy/pasting properties and twirl down/folder organization
Right now when you add in a property from an expression control like a slider, it just shows up as "Slider" in the panel even if you've named the effect. It would save me a ton of time if you just took the name of the effect instead of just giving it a generic title like "Checkbox" or "Slider". I keep having to rename things in the EG panel that I've already taken the time to name properly in my project.
If you won't do that, please at very least add the ability to quickly tab between the names of properties (right now it only tabs between the property values) to make renaming multiple items much quicker.
Another thing I think would really help is if there was some way to copy/paste properties within the panel. For instance, I'm building a template right now that contains 3 title cards strung end to end. The properties I want to add into the EG panel are identical for each title card, but I have to manually add them and rename them for each individual card. There's got to be a quicker way. Also, if you could at least find some way to copy/paste the comments that would be great.
Lastly, my templates have been getting quite complicated, and the EG panel can get quite crowded with content. Similar to how everyone has been asking for a folder style management of AE's timeline, I think EG really NEEDS to have that sort of twirl down function. Again using the example of the 3 title cards strung end to end, I would LOVE to be able to nest each card into it's own folder to provide some decluttered clarity for the editor working in Premiere. Right now it's a bit of a cluster@#%!
