Cinema 4D crashes when trying to edit a gradient
If I add a material in Cinema 4D, change the texture to gradient and then edit the colours, the first notch I can double click on and change it's colours, but if I click the second colour notch, it crashes completely every time. Even if I try and click on the second notch first, it still crashes. Please help, this is severely limiting my options. Thank you.

You appear to be describing a problem in Maxon CINEMA 4D, which is not an Adobe product. While CINEMA 4D Lite is included with After Effects, our friends at Maxon would appreciate that you file any bug reports for their product with them, as opposed to us.

Just for anyone searching without any help - I had this problem and solved it. The problem was a dual monitor that was connected to the GPU, and when selecting the colour node on the gradient shader the colour selector would open on the 2nd inactive monitor, causing any clicks on the Cinema 4D Viewport the seem as though its frozen because there was an overlaying window that needed completing before anything could be done. To fix this either turn on your dual display to select the colour, or disconnect it so that the colour node only opens on your main monitor.
