After Effects brush bug
After Effect's pen pressure for the brush isn't compatible with the latest Wacom tablet drivers. I've seen this topic a lot in the Adobe forums, but it seems that Adobe has not yet addressed this issue.
In the attached picture I've selected Brush 19. When Size is set to Pen Pressure (as in the photo), I can only draw those very thin and almost invisible lines on the left. When the Size is set to Off, I can only draw those two thicker lines in the middle. This seems to be a common issue in AE with no fix yet, so I hope this bug gets picked up and addressed in future versions of AE.
Adobe AE: Version 15.1.1 (Build 12)
Wacom Tablet Driver: I've tested the latest Driver 6.3.29-6, as well as the older Driver 6.3.28-2. The pen pressure in AE doesn't work for both these latest tablet drivers, but pen pressure works in the older Driver 6.3.15-3.
Device: Macbook Pro, OS Sierra version 10.12.6
Thank you for filing this bug report.
Have you tested this problem in After Effects 16.0.1?
Our developers report that this problem was solved in that release. Please test it and let us know if you continue to experience problems.

Pen pressure is now working for me in AE 16.0.1.
Mac OS X Sierra 10.12.6, Wacom 6.3.30-2.
I've found the answer to the problem. the default setting for the pen is at 1%, meaning its using 1% of the selected size. if you change that to 100 percent it will be the size that you initially select. (its located right under brush dynamics)

On pen pressure setting, increase the minimum size from 1% to 100%. That's how I got mine to work. hope this helps
I have the same problem! Mojave Mac Mini, new Wacom Intuos BT M. After Effects CC 15.1
Everything brand new and NOT WORKING properly, what a bummer!
Makes the brush tool a pointless joke.

Is there still no fix on this? Obviously don't find out about this until i have bought a new cintiq 13

Makes the brush essentially useless for me.
I thought maybe changing devices would fix this problem, but even on a new Cintiq Pro 24, running on a mid 2015 Macbook Pro, High Sierra, I'm still having this exact same issue. I've tried reporting it several times, to minimal response from Adobe. I'm running 10 other pen enabled graphics apps from Adobe and otherwise. All work fine except for AE, which has had this problem for about 2 years now I think.

This is so incredibly frustrating. Been waiting on a fix for a LONG time.
