BUG FIX: There is a problem accessing audio and video data since you last saved this project
There is a problem accessing audio and video data. After working for 1 day, I can no longer access video inside files. Replace and reloading of footage doesn't work.
This is the first AE project I have done since updating. I have waited 6 months for bugs to be worked out but still Adobe fails. This is an old AE project that I updated. I can't revert to previous AE versions because all the work was successfully done in this latest version before the project crashed. I don't have time to redo the whole project again. 1 round of work was successfully rendered but now the project file has gone haywire. Autosaves don't help.
AE Warning: There is a problem accessing audio and video data in 43 files since you last saved this project. If I reload the footage, my mask and effects layers disappear.
If waiting 6 months for Adobe to iron out bugs isn't enough time, it may be that the Creative Cloud is a bust. I really do like Adobe in general but the failure to stay on top of bugs is impelling me to reevaluate Final Cut Pro and other competitor options. I have to question why I am paying for annual updates that don't work, despite the fact that I am giving Adobe a 6 to 12 month headstart to iron out problems.
@alex you have saved my life...
I know this was posted a while but incase anyone needs the solution, you need to delete your Ae preferences. To delete your preferences on a mac, make sure AE is closed then hold Command + Option + Shift and open AE, a box will pop up asking if you're sure you want to delete preferences, click yes. Then your problem should be fixed. Cheers
I have the exactly the same problem here "after effects warning: there is a problem accessing the audio or video data in 44 files". Was there a solution found to this? Cheers
